On this day in 1942, Ron Connley was born in Covington, Kentucky. He was the oldest son of John and Stella Connley. During his life, he served in the Air Force when JFK was assassinated, married Judy Bowman in March, 1967, and had three children, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He worked with his father in the family business, was a Master Mason in the Masonic Lodge, an avid hunter and bowler, and he was my dad. I remember him smoking a pipe, watching old westerns and Hee Haw, and beekeeping. I loved our early morning fishing trips, bowling night, and helping to sling honey into mason jars. Who else remembers dad?
